EXPERIENCE
Kevin Gallaher specializes in real estate law, with particular expertise helping clients navigate through public agency reviews. He helps both residential and commercial clients in areas such as annexation agreements, zoning and site plan reviews. As a former member of Naperville’s City Council and its Transportation Advisory Board, Gallaher helps clients create real estate developments that benefit both the client and the municipality.
Prior to joining Nyberg & Cassioppi, Gallaher spent six years representing many major developments in Naperville and nearby communities. Clients included Monarch Landing, Calamos and Freedom Commons. He also worked in the Wheaton office of Tressler, Soderstrom, Maloney & Priess for 13 years.
EDUCATION
Mr. Gallaher received his Juris Doctorate degree from DePaul University after graduating from St. John’s University.
PERSONAL
Although no longer an elected official, Mr. Gallaher remains deeply committed to public service. He is the president of Naperville Responds, a not-for-profit group that provides housing for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Gallaher also is on the board of directors of the Turning Pointe Autism Foundation and has been active in youth sports, coaching baseball, basketball and soccer. Mr. Gallaher is the father of three children. He and his wife live in Naperville.
